PYDF Scholarship Audition Class 

Through PYDF’s scholarship audition class, students have the opportunity to audition for scholarships to multiple summer programs at the same time without any additional charge. Scholarships are provided by PYDF companies as well as outside dance organizations, and enable dancers to expand their training and professional opportunities beyond their home studio.

Deadline for submissions:

March 1st, 2024.

How the scholarship process works:

  1. Directors sign up to offer scholarships

  2. Each participating PYDF company will nominate 2 of their dancers based on financial need and availability to attend the one or more of the summer programs offered.

  3. Nominated dancers take part in the audition class during the festival

  4. Representative of each summer program attend the scholarship audition to select their awardees. 

  5. Scholarships are announced during the festival.
