What fees are involved in attending a YDF Festival?
There are two fees associated with attending a YDF Festival:
Company Application Fee: $50. To be payed by the company upon submitting the Company Application form. This is due November 1st, 2024.
Dancer Participation Fee: $100.00. There is a $100.00 Participation Fee for each dancer attending a YDF Festival. Companies must submit full payment for all of their dancers.

Can my company attend both 2025 YDF Festivals?
Yes! Companies can apply to attend both the 2025 Phildelphia Youth Dance Fest AND the Lehigh Valley Youth Dance Fest. You still ony have to pay the one $50.00 Company Application Fee.

If attending both Festivals, do my dancers have to pay both participation fees?
Yes, dancers must pay the $100.00 participation fee for each festival they attend.

May I submit multiple pieces to the festival?
Yes. Companies may submit a maximum of two pieces to a YDF Festival. At least one piece will be selected to be performed at the Festival. You may submit one piece if you do not have two prepared.

How long can pieces be?
All pieces submitted to YDF must be no longer than five minutes in length.

Can dancers attend if they are not performing?
For PYDF, non-performing dancers will be put on a wait list and be notified if there is extra space. For LYDF, non-performing dancers are welcome to participate and take master classes. There is a separate fee for non-performing dancers.

How do I submit payment for my dancers?
There is a payment form on the website for each director to fill out. Payments may be made by credit card or check.

How many classes do the dancers get to attend?
Dancers will enjoy four-six Master Classes throughout the weekend. Classes are different at each festival.

Does my company get to rehearse on stage?
Each company participates in a Tech Rehearsal on stage with the lighting designer. The crew will already have your lighting design, and music. This time is for you to quickly space your piece and run it once, and give any feedback to the crew.
