Mill Ballet School

The Mill Ballet School was founded in 1995 by Melissa and Mark Roxey. The “Mill” received its name from the original home of the school: the Prallsville Mill in Stockton, New Jersey. Starting in the linseed oil building, the school quickly grew beyond its “little Mill” and in 1999 relocated to a state-of-the-art facility in Lambertville, NJ. Over the next 20 years, it became a key part of the vibrant Lambertville community, surrounded by art, music, and culture. Now located in New Hope, PA, the Mill Ballet School continues its mission to provide world-class dance education. With a faculty of professionals from the country’s top dance companies, the school creates a positive and creative environment where dancers of all ages and levels thrive. Instructors focus on nurturing students through constructive and encouraging communication, helping them reach their highest potential. The Mill Ballet School has launched many professional dance careers and remains a cultural and educational destination for thousands of NJ and PA residents, fostering a lifelong love of the art of dance.
