Delaware Dance Company, Youth Dance Ensemble

Youth Dance Ensemble is Delaware Dance Company’s younger performing ensemble for advanced beginner and intermediate level dancers. All members are enrolled in a Jazz or Modern class in addition to their required Ballet curriculum. YDE gives it's dancers more opportunities beyond classes to perform, work with a variety of guest artists, and build their artistry skills. YDE attends and performs at local festivals and community events. In previous years, YDE attended and performed at the Maryland Dance Festival and the Delaware Dance Festival. More recently, they have attended and performed at the Philadelphia Youth Dance Festival as well as at Newark Community Day and for local retirement communities and schools. They have also supported the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and American Cancer Society through performances at their fundraising events.
